Not just how we live side by side, but how we come to perceive the same reality, build enough trust to cooperate, coordinate across difference, imagine futures we can't yet see, create culture, use new tools, and hand all of it to whoever comes next. I find that question everywhere - in my own mind and world, in systems and meetings, in novels and current events, in flirtations, dreams, nightmares, and paperwork.
